PMV delegation to attend 219th General Assembly

Presbytery of the Miami Valley will be well represented at the 219th General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), July 3-10, in Minneapolis, MN:

Dayton Habitat for Humanity
Presbyterian/Catholic Build 2010

Habitat HouseOnce again Presbyterian and Catholic Churches will “Catch the Building Spirit” when they team up to build a Habitat for Humanity House in Dayton. This will be their 17th year working together. This year the build will again be on Stratsburg Drive in Dayton. Blitz Week will start on the Saturday, May 29, and run through Friday, June 4.

Presbyterian Student Opportunity College Scholarships: Apply by June 1

Student Opportunity Scholarships of up to $3000 are available for Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) college students in select majors (Education, Health Service/Science, Religious Studies, Sacred Music, Social Service/Science). The scholarships provide aid for the expenses of the third and fourth years of an undergraduate program. Preference in this program is extended to racial ethnic students in order to promote diversity. Apply by June 1. More information>>


Three-year Online M.Div. Program

UTSBeginning in the fall of 2010, United Theological Seminary, Dayton, is offering a new online Master of Divinity degree that can be completed in three years.  The program offers the same quality of education as a traditional degree with the added flexibility of attending class from any location with Internet access.  To earn the degree students must complete a minimum of 30 percent of the degree in a hybrid (partially online and partially face-to-face) or face-to-face format.  Learn more>>

Northminster Mission Fund

Grants up to $5,000.00 are available to individual Congregations, Congregations in Partnership, Designated Presbytery Networks, and Validated Ministries of the Presbytery of the Miami Valley, for the continued purpose of building up the body of Christ.
